The third academic and professional exchange conference with the theme “Reconnection”

On April 21st, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in collaboration with Garde Company and Japan KOIZUMI Lighting Technology Group successfully organized the third Academic and Professional Exchange Workshop with the theme “Reconnection” on the Zoom platform with more than 50 registered participants. The conference is the result of the careful preparation work of both sides during the previous period. Many scholars, researchers, practicing architects from many parts of Vietnam attended and asked many interesting questions to the speakers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering highly appreciated the theme of this year's Conference, ReCONNECTION is one of the phrases used a lot in the post-Covid era, especially the need for connection, reconnection both in the field of culture and architecture. HUCE always attaches great importance to developing high-quality academic programs, listens to the opinions and sharing from speakers to contribute to the Reconnection program in the field of architecture nowadays.

At the workshop, the main architect of Garde Company in Japan - Mr. Onodera Yoshikuni presented to the participants new approaches to interior design in the direction of preserving tradition, promoting convenience and human comfort. He also strongly proposed some new concepts in architecture or using 4.0 technology to blur the boundary between interior and exterior space.

Also, at the webinar, two guests of the program - Dr. Architect. Tran Minh Tung, Head of the Department of Civil Architecture, Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Mr. Kawai Tatsura, an expert from Japan KOIZUMI Lighting Technology Group, shared about Public space or pseudo-public space: Is it a concern of young people? and an introduction to lighting in buildings

After the presentations of the speakers, many questions were raised and discussed, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Japan Garde Company hoped to have more seminars and cooperation activities in the future to strengthen cooperation and bring benefits to both sides.
